Mediapulse, Tennessee's oldest and most established Internet marketing firm, recently moved the ORNL Federal Credit Union's at www.ornlfcu.com to the iDeal Platform.
The platform allows the credit union to update loan and savings rates on a nearly daily basis, add new locations as the credit union expands, and easily manage branch information and other content on the web site. Based in Oak Ridge, Tenn., the credit union has 24 branches serving more than 127,000 members in 16 counties.
Mediapulse also rolled out a new e-Board for the credit union and its board of directors. The web-based application enables the credit union's board members to access documents, research issues, and receive information that helps them prepare for board meetings from the comfort of their homes.
"It's a secure communication tool we can use with our board of directors. We can interact prior to a board meeting and allow our board of directors to view documents prior to the meeting," said Jamie Butler, executive assistant to John McKittrick, credit union President.
"When we sit down for a meeting, board members have had a prior view of documents, and we have more effective and efficient board meetings. It is a wonderful communication tool," she said, describing the e-Board as very user friendly.
ORNL Federal Credit Union's web site is heavily used and offers a range of electronic services, including application to join, loan applications, account balance inquiries, share draft orders, loan paying online, and viewing account transactions.
