Mediapulse Launches New KAMA Website
Friday November 30, 2007
Mediapulse, Tennessee's oldest and most established Internet marketing firm, recently redesigned the website for the Knoxville Chapter of the American Marketing Association (KAMA), adding new functions that make use of the website easier for members, site visitors and managers.
New graphics on the website (
www.kama.org) showcase KAMA as an organization that builds relationships and advances networking. The site incorporates features of iDeal Platform, Mediapulse's new online software platform that allows businesses to easily manage their websites, adding functionality and ease of use.
"Mediapulse has done an excellent job on design. The website has more of a fresh, contemporary feel," said KAMA President Dorothy Smith, President of Smith Marketing. "Mediapulse has made the website so much easier to navigate for our members."
A new commerce function allows members, non-members and guests to sign up for events online on the website. Smith said the e-mail blast template, also new to the site, adds capabilities that help KAMA keep members informed of upcoming events.
"We are very fortunate to be in the forefront, as a marketing organization should be, with practices related to e-mail marketing, thanks to Mediapulse," added KAMA Treasurer Scott Bird, Vice President of Moxley Carmichael. The website redesign also provides KAMA with an online newsletter template to use in distributing newsletters through e-mail.
With iDeal Platform, the managers of the KAMA website can easily make updates to the web site any time of the day, noted Chris Kosman, Mediapulse Creative Director. The iDeal Platform gives businesses the tools to easily change and manage the content of websites, track visitors' moves, generate real-time website statistics and manage inquiries while tracking lead generation.
The American Marketing Association is a professional society of individual members who have an interest in the practice, study and teaching of marketing. The Knoxville Chapter officially joined the AMA in 1989, providing professional development and educational programs for members and guests, as well as honoring outstanding marketing practitioners and students.
