Mediapulse, Knoxville's oldest and most established web design
studio, recently won five WebAwards for website development from the
Web Marketing Association.
WebAwards honor the top website
developers and websites in an international competition that judges 96
industry categories. More than 2,400 sites from 40 countries competed
for the 2008 WebAwards, a premier award event for web developers and
marketers worldwide. Entries were judged on design, copy writing,
innovation, content, interactivity, ease of use, and use of technology.
Mediapulse received a Best Faith-based WebAward for the Park West Church of God website, and Standard of Excellence WebAwards for the Blount County Industrial Board and Knoxville American Marketing Association websites.
"Many
of the entries this year continued to show impressive creativity and
technical innovation to win in this year's WebAward competition,"
William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association, said. "While
some companies are constantly improving their web efforts in small
ways, others are making incredible leaps ahead. The WebAwards has
always been a great way for Internet professionals to showcase their
work and gain recognition and marketing opportunities for web
development that sets the standard for the entire industry."
The
Web Marketing Association, founded in 1997, aims to help set a high
standard for Internet marketing and development of websites. The awards
it created provide a benchmark by which all website development can be
judged, based on the seven criteria of a successful website used in the
judging process.
