Mediapulse, Knoxville's oldest and most established web design studio, received two Bronze Awards in the 2008 International Summit Creative Awards competition, attracting entries from firms in 23 countries.
Mediapulse won a Bronze Award for the Knoxville American Marketing Association (www.kama.org) website, and a Bronze Award for the WDVX 89.9 FM (www.wdvx.com) website.
"To be acknowledged with a design award is always an honor," said Scott Spaid, President and CEO of Mediapulse and director of technology for KAMA. "To be awarded for our work on kama.org is even better since the site represents the industry we are in and our local marketing peers. The Summit Interactive Award competition is always tough and we are grateful for this award."
East Tennesse's own WDVX 89.9 FM features a rustic design that includes updates of events and news, an online store, site search, and slide shows of its daily live Blue Plate Special broadcast guests and other events. WDVX streams around the world on the web from the site, generating a broad-based and growing audience.
Summit Creative Awards were established to recognize and celebrate the creative accomplishments of small and medium-sized companies throughout the world. The competition is conducted by the International Summit Awards organization, an independent, international competition organization focused on creating a community of marketing creativity and excellence.
The competition is recognized worldwide as the industry’s most prestigious awards exclusively for works created by small and mid-sized firms. Judges represent some of the top creative agencies worldwide.
