Mediapulse, Knoxville's oldest and most established web design studio, is the recipient of five Horizon Interactive Awards, a prestigious international competition recognizing outstanding achievement among interactive media producers. The studio was recognized for its high aesthetic standards and its ability to effectively communicate a message with purpose and clarity.
Mediapulse received a Silver Horizon Interactive Award for its website design for Ty Pennington Style (www.typenningtonstyle.com), host of ABC's
"Ty's site is one of our greatest design accomplishments," said Scott Spaid, president of Mediapulse. "In addition to featuring some of our best Flash work ever, the site has great functionality for visitors to interact with Ty and for Ty's staff to update the site."
Mediapulse also received a Silver Horizon Interactive Award for the Merit Construction website, (www.meritconstruction.com). Merit Construction is one of Knoxville, Tennessee's finest construction companies focusing on high quality while staying on budget and on time.
In the bronze category, Mediapulse won three for Barna Log Homes (www.barnahomes.com), New Condominium Guide (www.newcondominiumguide.com), and Pacific Pools (www.pacificpools.com).
Horizon Interactive Award entries are reviewed and scored by a panel of seven judges comprised of seasoned, well respected industry professionals. They represent various aspects of the interactive media industry and represent a wide range of markets, including: design and creative firms, advertising agencies, artists, Fortune 500 companies, public relations firms, and freelancers.
